The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 7.17 percent. This average is down from last week's 8.33 percent, based on data from Monday, December 12, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 52.63 percent, are Fakfak, Musi Rawas Utara, Belitung Timur, Tasikmalaya, and Kolaka, with values of 100 percent, 66.67 percent, 66.67 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.63 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 67 regencies/cities, while 102 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Musi Rawas Utara, and Belitung Timur, with BORs of 100 percent, 66.67 percent, and 66.67 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
