The top five, starting from the highest weekly suspect testing percentage, are Tidore Islands City (88.46%), Simalungun (83.75%), Mandailing Natal (79.28%), North Padang Lawas (72.55%), and East Halmahera (70%).
Tidore Islands City ranks first. With a population of 102,120, its weekly suspect testing percentage is recorded at 88.46 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Simalungun. The population in this region is recorded at 880,300. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 83.75 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 2.16 percent, which has also decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Furthermore, the testing percentage was 79.28 percent in Mandailing Natal, 72.55 percent in North Padang Lawas, and 70 percent in East Halmahera.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 106 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher daily weekly suspect testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 179 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly suspect testing percentage compared to the previous week.

Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
