The top five, starting from the highest, are Pangandaran, North Padang Lawas, Simalungun, West Muna, and Mandailing Natal, with ratios of 81.88 percent, 68.67 percent, 67.64 percent, 56.44 percent, and 51.81 percent respectively.
Pangandaran ranks first. With a population of 407,350, its weekly suspect testing percentage is recorded at 81.88 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is North Padang Lawas. The region's population is 293,240. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 68.67 percent. The positive rate in this region is 1.23 percent, an increase compared to the previous week's percentage.
Then, Simalungun, with a population of 877,710, recorded a weekly suspect testing percentage of 67.64 percent; West Muna recorded 56.44 percent; and Mandailing Natal recorded 51.81 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid data recapitulation, there are 179 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting a higher weekly percentage of suspect testing than before. Meanwhile, 155 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly suspect testing percentage compared to the previous week.
