Mental health issues are now a global concern. According to Populix research, 52% of Indonesians report experiencing symptoms of mental health problems.
The most common mental health symptoms experienced by Indonesians are mood changes (26%), followed by changes in sleep quality and excessive anxiety.
"Our survey shows that 52% of Indonesians, especially women aged 18-24, are aware that they have symptoms of mental health disorders, ranging from mild to severe. The majority of respondents also reported experiencing these symptoms within the last 6 months," said Eileen Kamtawijoyo, Co-Founder and COO of Populix, in a written statement as reported by *Kumparan.com*.

The survey was conducted online through the Populix application with 1,005 male and female respondents aged 18-54 years. The research was conducted on September 16-17, 2022.
