The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 128 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.97 percent as of Sunday, November 13, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 25.05 percent are East Lombok, Surabaya City, Semarang City, West Lombok, and Mojokerto City, with values of 31 percent, 30 percent, 28.34 percent, 26.19 percent, and 25.05 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 16 districts/cities, while 17 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include East Lombok, West Lombok, and Simalungun, with tracing rates of 31 percent, 26.19 percent, and 24.5 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
