A higher than previous daily confirmed positive case count was recorded in 89 regencies/cities, while 90 regencies/cities recorded lower confirmed positive cases.
Areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive case rates include Palangkaraya, Bontang, and Badung, with confirmed positive cases of 50.71, 50.15, and 36.82 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
