The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 182 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 5.28 percent (data as of Tuesday, December 13, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 31.48 percent are Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (50 percent), Parigi Moutong (41.03 percent), Toli Toli (39.47 percent), Aceh Tengah (31.58 percent), and Morowali (31.48 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. However, 121 districts/cities recorded a higher seven-day positivity rate than the previous day, while 181 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (50 percent), Parigi Moutong (41.03 percent), and Toli Toli (39.47 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
