Medium-Sized Red Onion Prices in Traditional Markets, April 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets of Central Kalimantan is recorded at Rp45,650. This price is an increase of Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the past month, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets has risen from the previously recorded Rp34,650 .

Meanwhile, over the past three months, the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets of Central Kalimantan has increased by 3.4% from the previously recorded Rp44,150.

The record increase in the daily price of medium-sized red onions in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with a 19.79% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2022 with a -14.64% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the nine staple commodities (sembako) tracked today in Central Kalimantan, two commodities have decreased in price while 26 others have increased. The staples with price drops are Super II Quality Rice and Bulk Cooking Oil in traditional markets by province.
