At that time, Ambon's air quality was categorized as "good," meaning pollutant levels were very minimal. Mamuju followed in second place with an air quality index of 40, and Banda Aceh was third with an index of 41.

* 101-200: Unhealthy
* 201-300: Very Unhealthy
* 300+: Hazardous
