Today's COVID-19 Provincial Data Update: West Java Reports the Highest Increase (Tuesday, March 29, 2022)

Indonesia's Covid-19 cases increased by 3,895 today, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 6.01 million cases as of Tuesday, March 29, 2022. The five provinces with the highest increases today are West Java, Jakarta, Banten, Central Java, and East Java.

The following are the provinces with the highest increase in Covid-19 cases today

1. West Java saw an increase of 928 cases

West Java ranks first. The increase in cases here was 928, or a 0.08% increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which had reached 1.1 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in West Java is now 1.1 million.

In addition to recording the highest increase in cases, West Java also recorded nine deaths. Thus, the total number of deaths during the Covid-19 pandemic in West Java has reached 15,611. The seven-day positive rate is 5.78%, and the BOR for Covid-19 hospitals is reported to be 12%.

2. Jakarta saw an increase of 742 cases

Jakarta ranks second. The increase in Covid-19 cases here was 742. The seven-day positive rate in this region is 4.9%. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested for Covid-19 in this province is recorded at 110.31 per week.
3. Banten saw an increase of 363 cases

Next is Banten. The increase in Covid-19 cases here was 363. The seven-day positive rate in this region is 5.38%. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested for Covid-19 in this province is recorded at 46,057 per week.
4. Central Java saw an increase of 329 cases
