The top five, starting from the highest, are Simalungun, Padang Lawas Utara, Mandailing Natal, Pangandaran, and Banggai Kepulauan, with ratios of 89.43 percent, 81.52 percent, 80.02 percent, 74.81 percent, and 71.72 percent, respectively.
Simalungun ranks first. With a population of 877,710, the weekly suspect testing percentage is recorded at 89.43 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Padang Lawas Utara. The population of this region is recorded at 293,240. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect testing percentage is 81.52 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, also down from the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Mandailing Natal recorded 80.02 percent testing, Pangandaran recorded 74.81 percent, and Banggai Kepulauan recorded 71.72 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 168 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting a higher daily weekly suspect testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 171 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly suspect testing percentage compared to the previous week.
