This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to the weekly target of each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Badung, Berau, Mimika, Bontang City, and Jayapura City, with ratios of 981.46 percent, 972.69 percent, 965.63 percent, 931.87 percent, and 928.9 percent, respectively.
Badung ranks first. With a population of 727,950, the weekly testing percentage in this area was recorded at 981.46 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.59 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Berau. The population in this region is recorded at 236,590. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage was 972.69 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, having decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Then, Mimika recorded 965.63 percent testing, Bontang City recorded 931.87 percent, and Jayapura City recorded 928.9 percent.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 25 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher weekly testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 362 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly testing percentage compared to the previous week.
