In 1847, the wife of the Mauritius governor sent invitations to 500 friends for a ballroom party using the 2d Blue stamp. This stamp gained attention from philatelists in 1864 when the wife of a ruler in Bordeaux, Mauritius, discovered an envelope bearing this stamp addressed to her husband.

4. 1968 The Whole Country is Red – US$ 1.1 Million or Rp 15.6 Billion
