According to a YouGov survey, 61% of respondents in Indonesia are interested in using artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze skin care conditions and needs, such as through the analysis of aging patterns and biological age of the skin.

Meanwhile, only 8% of respondents are not interested in the idea, 27% are neutral, and 4% don't know.

"AI-based skin care is a growing field, but it's not equally appealing to everyone," said YouGov in its 2026 Indonesia Anti-Aging Report.

The survey also found that 71% of respondents believe in AI-based facial analysis tools to recommend treatments or products tailored to their skin needs.

Then, 18% of respondents don't believe in this technology, and another 11% don't know.

The survey involved around 1,000 respondents across Indonesia, the majority of whom were from the Gen Z and Millennial groups. The survey was conducted online from December 16, 2025 to January 12, 2026.
