The second-largest quick-service restaurant and food company is McDonald's Corp., with revenue of US$19.3 billion and net income of US$4.8 billion as of August 2020. McDonald's is a globally renowned fast-food restaurant brand. The company has over 39,000 outlets in 100 countries.

Founded in the United States, the company is headquartered in Shanghai. Yum China owns several subsidiary brands, including KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut.
