Banten Region Food Prices Tuesday (2/7): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (2/7/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic bulbs, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, pure beef, farmer-level corn, granulated sugar, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp5,910 (15.26%) to Rp44,640 per kg. Milkfish prices fell the most sharply by Rp3,230 (10.3%) to Rp28,140 per kg.
