The daily price of shallots in South Sulawesi Province's modern markets has increased by 49.49% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in modern markets in South Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp58,900 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of shallots in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp39,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in modern markets in South Sulawesi over the last three months has increased by 29.74% from the previous record of Rp45,400 per kg.

The highest record of daily shallot price increases in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 56.86%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -52.78%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show eight commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Medium-Sized Garlic, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Garlic, Super I Quality Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
