Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, Friday (27/9): Onion Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (27/9/2024) at 17:44 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, shallot bulbs, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp440 (2.0%) to Rp22,430 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp320 (2.66%) to Rp11,730 per kg.
