Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Onions, Sugar, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (12/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, shallots, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, milkfish, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,590 (5.37%) to Rp50,780 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price drop, falling Rp1,410 (11.81%) to Rp10,530 per kg.
