Today's Indonesian Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (1/12/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased in price and 19 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices saw the highest increase of Rp100 (0.27%) to Rp36,530 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp490 (1.55%) to Rp31,030 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Indonesia according to Bapanas on December 1st, 2024, at 14.10 WIB.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,030 per kg (down 1.55%)
9. Curly Red Chili Peppers: Rp29,620 per kg (down 0.5%)
