This is the Supply and Demand of Subsidized Housing per Province in May 2024

The supply of subsidized housing in Indonesia is abundant, far exceeding the demand.

This is evident from data from the Developer Information System (SiKumbang), an application used by partner developers of subsidized housing officially registered with the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).

According to SiKumbang data, as of May 30, 2024, the total national supply of subsidized housing reached 723,600 units, while the demand was 203,800 people.

Broken down by province, the highest supply of subsidized housing is in West Java, and the lowest is in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the highest demand for subsidized housing is in West Java, and the lowest is in Maluku.

Generally, as of May 30, 2024, the supply of subsidized housing at the provincial level exceeded demand.

An exception is Jakarta, where the supply is less than the demand, with details as shown in the graph.

Subsidized housing refers to decent housing specifically intended for low-income communities.

Eligible individuals can purchase these homes through special government assistance schemes, such as the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP), Down Payment Assistance Subsidy (SBUM), Savings-Based Housing Financing Assistance (BP2BT), and others.
