The National Asset Management Institute (LMAN) reports that five toll road sections consumed the largest land acquisition budget this year.
All these toll road projects are located on the island of Java.
The toll road projects that used the most state funds for land acquisition are:
* Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo Toll Road: Rp2.5 trillion
* Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road: Rp1.6 trillion
* Jakarta Cikampek II Selatan Toll Road: Rp552 billion
* Semarang-Demak Toll Road: Rp513 billion
* Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road: Rp501 billion
According to LMAN, they have disbursed Rp10.4 trillion for national strategic project land acquisition as of August 25, 2023. Almost 80%, or Rp8.2 trillion, of this was allocated to toll road projects.
"(The land acquisition budget) is largest for the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo toll road project. In eight months, Rp2.51 trillion has been disbursed," said Qoswara, Director of Land Procurement and Funding at LMAN, as reported by *Katadata.co.id* on Monday (28/8/2023).
Qoswara stated that the realized land acquisition budget disbursed by LMAN increased by 21% compared to last year. He attributed this to a 39% increase in funding for toll road projects.
Here's a breakdown of the total land acquisition budget by project type:
* Toll road projects: Rp8.2 trillion
* Dam projects: Rp1.16 trillion
* Makassar-Parepare railway project: Rp166 billion
* New capital city development project: Rp723.8 billion (including Rp466 billion for IKN access roads and Rp257 billion for the IKN core area)
On the other hand, Qoswara said that the budget for land acquisition for national strategic projects is estimated to exceed Rp16 trillion this year. LMAN has received a capital injection of Rp25 trillion from the government for this purpose.
"Many projects will have their land acquisition completed, such as the Yogyakarta-Solo Toll Road, the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road, and the IKN. There will certainly be acceleration towards the end of the year," said Qoswara.
