Top 10 Toll Roads Owned by BUJT with the Highest Revenue (June 2021)

Toll roads generate revenue for the state. In fact, several toll roads owned by PT Badan Usaha Jalan Tol (BUJT) in Indonesia generate the highest profits.

The Cikopo-Palimanan toll road section is the BUJT toll road with the highest operating revenue, reaching Rp835.82 billion from January to June 2021. This is followed by the Cawang-Tanjung Priok-Pluit section with operating revenue of Rp709.62 billion in the first half of 2021.

The next toll road sections with the highest revenue are Serang-Panimbang at Rp598.94 billion, Tangerang-Merak at Rp560.55 billion, Semarang-Batang at Rp512 billion, and Sigli-Banda Aceh at Rp496 billion.

Furthermore, the JORR S section achieved operating revenue of Rp339.38 billion, followed by the Semarang-Solo toll road at Rp317.71 billion, the Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated at Rp308.49 billion, and Terbanggi Besar-Pematang at Rp306.83 billion.

BUJT owns 79 toll road sections, both operational and non-operational, and collected Rp17.47 trillion in operating revenue up to June 2021.

This comprises 52 sections generating a profit of Rp4.91 trillion and 17 sections incurring a loss of Rp989.32 billion. The loss-making toll road sections are those that are not yet operational or have been operational for less than 10 years.
