According to a Kompas Research and Development survey, several figures can influence Surakarta (Solo) residents in this year's regional elections (Pilkada).

A majority, or 48.7% of respondents, considered the endorsement of former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when deciding on their preferred mayoral candidate in the 2024 Solo Pilkada.

Meanwhile, fewer respondents, 45.1%, considered the endorsement of President Prabowo Subianto.

Furthermore, 37.7% considered the endorsement of former Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, and 34.8% considered the endorsement of PDI-P Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Data collection was conducted from October 15-19, 2024, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 5.24% with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
