PT Bintaro Serpong Damai (BSD) is increasing toll rates on the Pondok Aren-Serpong toll road section, or BSD Toll Road, effective September 15, 2024.

"Starting September 15, 2024, at 00.01 WIB, the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road will implement adjusted toll rates based on Ministerial Decree 2149/KPTS/M/2024 at 8 toll gates (GT)," PT BSD wrote on its official Instagram on Thursday (September 12, 2024).

The eight toll gates include Pondok Ranji Utama towards Jakarta, Pondok Ranji Utama towards Serpong, Pondok Aren 1, Pondok Aren 2, Serpong 2, Serpong 3, Serpong 6, and Serpong 7.

PT BSD President Director Ricky Camelien stated that the toll rate increase is in line with the periodic quality improvements.

"We have undertaken various developments to continuously provide the best service to road users by improving road quality while ensuring that Minimum Service Standards (SPM) are met," Ricky said, as quoted from the official website of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency on Sunday (September 1, 2024).

This 7.25 km toll road is a vital route connecting South Tangerang with Jakarta.

With the adjustment, here's the breakdown of the new BSD Toll Road rates according to vehicle class:

* Class I: from Rp7,000 to Rp9,500
* Class II: from Rp13,500 to Rp14,000
* Class III: from Rp13,500 to Rp14,000
* Class IV: from Rp16,000 to Rp18,500
* Class V: from Rp16,000 to Rp18,500
