Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road Tariffs Increased as of October 11, 2023: Details Inside

PT Jasamarga Kualanamu Tol (JMKT), the operator of the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, will implement an adjustment to toll tariffs effective November 11, 2023, at 00.00 WIB.

According to JMKT's official Instagram page (@official.jmkt), this toll increase is regulated in the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) No. 1519/KPTS/M/2023 concerning the Adjustment of Toll Tariffs on the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road Section, ratified on October 25, 2023.

"Ensure sufficient fuel (BBM) and KawanJMKT electronic money balance before driving!" JMKT wrote in its Instagram post on Thursday (November 9, 2023).

With this new policy, the following are the details of the new toll tariffs for the longest distance from Medan to Kualanamu and vice versa, using a closed-transaction system:

* Vehicle Class I: from Rp55,500 to Rp60,000
* Vehicle Class II: from Rp83,000 to Rp89,500
* Vehicle Class III: from Rp83,000 to Rp89,500
* Vehicle Class IV: from Rp110,500 to Rp119,500
* Vehicle Class V: from Rp110,500 to Rp119,500

The Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road has seven toll gates (GT) as entry points. These include Kualanamu GT, Paluh Kemiri GT, Lubuk Pakam GT, Perbaungan GT, Teluk Mengkudu GT, Sei Rampah GT, and Tebing Tinggi GT.

This 61.7 km toll road, operational since 2017, is a national strategic project and part of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road, a government initiative to facilitate public mobility on Sumatra Island.
