143,000 Vehicles Return to Jabodetabek During Nyepi Holiday

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 143,701 vehicles returning to the Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabotabek) area during the Nyepi Day holiday on Monday, March 11, 2024.

This figure is a cumulative count of traffic flow from four main toll gates: Cikupa Toll Gate (from Merak), Ciawi Toll Gate (from Puncak), Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (from Trans Java), and Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate (from Bandung).

The total volume of traffic returning to Jabotabek on Nyepi Day increased by 10.38% compared to a typical day.

During this period, the highest number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek passed through the Cikupa Toll Gate on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, totaling 38,454 vehicles.

Although the volume was the highest, the number of vehicles passing through this toll road decreased by 14.54% from the normal traffic flow.

Next, 37,061 vehicles returned via the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate on the Cipularang Toll Road (up 25.85%), and 35,693 vehicles via the Ciawi Toll Gate on the Jagorawi Toll Road (up 15.89%).

Meanwhile, the lowest number of vehicles returning to Jabodetabek was through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with 32,493 vehicles. This number increased by 30.27% from a typical day.
