PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk reported that 298,370 vehicles left the Jabodetabek area from the day before to Good Friday this year, specifically March 28-29, 2024.
This figure is the accumulated traffic flow from four main toll gates: Cikupa Toll Gate (towards Merak), Ciawi Toll Gate (towards Puncak), Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (towards Trans Java), and Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate (towards Bandung).
According to Lisye Octaviana, Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head of Jasa Marga, the total volume of traffic leaving Jabodetabek increased by 5.25% compared to normal traffic.
Lisye detailed the distribution of traffic leaving Jabodetabek on March 28-29, 2024, towards three main directions.
The majority, or 129,706 vehicles (43.47%), headed east (Trans Java and Bandung), 97,131 vehicles (32.55%) headed west (Merak), and 71,533 vehicles (23.97%) headed south (Puncak).
Traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Trans Java via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road totaled 60,370 vehicles, a 10.02% increase from normal traffic.
Traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate on the Cipularang Toll Road totaled 69,366 vehicles, a 7.4% increase from normal traffic.
Traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Merak via the Cikupa Toll Gate on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road reached 97,131 vehicles, a 3.10% increase from normal traffic.
Traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Puncak via the Ciawi Toll Gate on the Jagorawi Toll Road totaled 71,533 vehicles, a 2.41% increase from normal traffic.
