PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 388,942 vehicles leaving the Jabodetabek area from two days before to one day before Eid al-Adha, or between June 27-28, 2023.
This figure is a cumulative count of traffic flow from four main toll gates: Cikupa Toll Gate (towards Merak), Ciawi Toll Gate (towards Puncak Bogor), Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (towards Trans Java), and Kaliurip Utama Toll Gate (towards Bandung).
The total volume of traffic leaving Jabodetabek during the Eid al-Adha holiday increased by 50% compared to normal days.
The highest increase was observed in traffic heading east, with 205,511 vehicles.
Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road recorded the highest number of vehicles during the long Eid al-Adha holiday, with 113,089 vehicles.
This figure represents an increase of 114.90% compared to normal traffic volume.
Meanwhile, traffic heading east towards Bandung via Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate on the Cipularang Toll Road recorded 93,422 vehicles, a 75.91% increase from usual traffic.
The volume of vehicles leaving Jabodetabek towards the west to Merak via Cikupa Toll Gate on the Tangerang-Merak toll road was the second highest during the long Eid al-Adha holiday.
A total of 103,834 vehicles left Jabodetabek via Cikupa Toll Gate, a 12% increase from normal traffic.
Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head, Lisye Octaviana, stated that the operational services of the Jasa Marga Group toll roads during the long Eid al-Adha holiday ran optimally.
