According to the *TomTom Traffic Index Ranking 2021*, the most congested city in the world in 2021 was Istanbul. The congestion index score for this Turkish city reached 62%.
Following that, second place for the world's most congested city was given to Moscow. The congestion index score for the Russian capital reached 61%.
Then there is Kyiv with a congestion index score of 56%, Bogotá with a score of 55%, Mumbai 53%, and Odessa 51%.
