In its first week of operation, Whoosh transported more than 5,000 passengers.

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail (KCJB) feeder train service between Bandung and Padalarang (round trip) was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

In one week, the high-speed train, named 'Whoosh', has transported 5,473 passengers since its inauguration.

The details show that 2,833 passengers departed from Bandung Station and 2,640 passengers departed from Padalarang Station.

“The number of passengers will certainly increase as the number of Whoosh KCJB Feeder train trips gradually increases,” said Mahendro Trang Bawono, Public Relations Manager of Daop 2 Bandung, in his official statement on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Mahendro explained that the number of trips prepared in the initial phase of the Whoosh high-speed train operation is 8 trips per day.

The following is the schedule of the Feeder train which has been adjusted to the KCJB Whoosh schedule:

Bandung-Padalarang Route:

* Train No. 7409 departs 08.22 WIB – arrives 08.41 WIB
* Train No. 7425 departs 09.22 WIB – arrives 09.41 WIB
* Train No. 7417 departs 15.15 WIB – arrives 15.34 WIB
* Train No. 7421 departs 17.12 WIB – arrives 17.31 WIB

Padalarang - Bandung Route:

* Train No. 7406 departs 09.28 WIB – arrives 09.47 WIB
* Train No. 7410 departs 10.30 WIB – arrives 10.49 WIB
* Train No. 7416 departs 16.20 WIB – arrives 16.39 WIB
* Train No. 7420 departs 18.20 WIB – arrives 18.39 WIB

With a total travel time of only 19 minutes from Bandung-Padalarang and vice versa, Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) hopes that this Feeder train can provide convenience to the public.

"It is hoped that with the presence of this Feeder train, it can facilitate public connectivity to Padalarang KCJB Station through a transportation system that is free from congestion and on time," concluded Mahendro.
