According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), from January to September 2022, wholesale sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in the domestic market reached 3,801 units.

Wuling shipped 300 Air EV units to Bali by sea on October 25, 2022, comprising 216 Long Range units and 84 Standard Range units. These hundreds of electric cars reportedly arrived at their destination and were ready for use since November 1, 2022.
