Passenger arrivals at Central Java airports increased by 22.65% in November 2021.

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that the number of passengers arriving via commercial aircraft in Central Java in November 2021 reached 73,106. This figure represents a 22.65% increase compared to the previous month, which recorded 59,603 passengers.

The number of domestic air passengers arriving in November 2021 totaled 73,106, a 22.65% increase compared to the previous month's 59,603 passengers. In November 2021, there were no international passenger arrivals at airports in Central Java.

Ahmad Yani Airport had the highest number of arriving passengers, reaching 45,681. This was followed by Adi Sumarmo Airport with 27,425 passengers. Meanwhile, Tunggul Wulung and Dewadaru airports had zero passenger arrivals.

Compared to October, the number of arriving passengers at Ahmad Yani Airport increased by 20.81%. Similarly, Adi Sumarmo Airport saw a 25.85% increase.

Tunggul Wulung Airport in Cilacap and Dewadaru Airport remained at 0% due to the temporary closure of both airports.
