The number of motor vehicles in Bontang City, East Kalimantan, reached 181,150 units in April 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Saturday (April 19th), the number of motorcycles in Bontang City was 149,000 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 22,630 units, followed by 8,758 units of goods vehicles, 648 buses, and 107 special vehicles.
In East Kalimantan province, Samarinda City had the highest number of motor vehicles (1.03 million units), while Mahakam Hulu Regency had the lowest (338 units).
