The number of motor vehicles in Ambon City, Maluku reached 236,340 units in April 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Monday (April 14th), the number of motorcycles in Ambon City totaled 205,720 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 21,430 units. This is followed by 8,852 units of goods vehicles, 268 buses, and 74 special purpose vehicles.
Among other regencies/cities in the province, Maluku Tengah Regency had the highest number of motor vehicles with 66,190 units. Meanwhile, Maluku Barat Daya Regency had the lowest number with 4,210 units.
