Indonesia's State Railway Company (PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)) or KAI reported that as of Monday (9/2/2026) at 10:00 WIB, there were 793,681 regular train tickets booked for the Lebaran homecoming period with departure dates from March 11 to 26, 2026.
KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication, Anne Purba, stated that the sale of Lebaran homecoming tickets is still ongoing and will continue to increase as ticket bookings open up until H-45.
"Through this arrangement, customers can adjust their travel times more freely, while also helping to distribute the homecoming flow so that it's not concentrated on certain dates," said Anne in a written statement on Tuesday (10/2/2026).
