PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) recorded revenues of Rp2.44 trillion in the first half of 2025.
This figure decreased by 4.68% from Rp2.56 trillion in the first half of last year (year-on-year/yoy).
From these revenues, the state-owned company earned a net profit of Rp298 billion in the first half of 2025. This figure also plummeted by 16% (yoy) from the previous Rp356 billion.
In its release, the company served 3.07 million passengers and 3.98 million vehicles across Indonesia. ASDP stated that this reflects the public's continued trust in the company as the backbone of Indonesia's maritime connectivity, despite a correction compared to the same period last year.
ASDP Corporate Secretary, Shelvy Arifin, added that the consistent performance in H1-2025 serves as a foundation for accelerating growth in H2.
"ASDP remains committed to maintaining business stability while strengthening the company's foundation. Our focus is on providing excellent services, especially in the logistics sector, which is a key pillar of the company's performance," said Shelvy.
Digital transformation continues to be strengthened through the implementation of Ferizy online ticket booking, now available at 49 ports. This platform enhances user convenience with a faster, more transparent, and secure reservation process.
In addition to digitalization, infrastructure development is also a priority. Service improvements at Merak and Bakauheni Ports, including the construction of a connecting bridge between the executive and regular terminals, have been carried out to facilitate public travel.
ASDP also expanded connectivity access by opening 8 new pioneer routes reaching strategic areas and underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions (3T).
Shelvy emphasized that service evaluations are conducted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction. "We listen to the aspirations of service users and ensure that service quality continues to be improved according to public needs," she said.
