MotoGP Mandalika 2025 Spectators Increase, Set New Record

The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025, also known as MotoGP Mandalika, held from October 3–5, 2025, at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), set a new spectator record.

This year, the number of spectators reached 140,324, an increase of approximately 16% compared to 2024 and a surge of 36% compared to the similar event in 2023.

The number of MotoGP Mandalika spectators in 2024 was 121,252, and in 2023, it was 102,929.

According to the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, MotoGP Mandalika 2025 had a positive impact on West Nusa Tenggara's economy.

"All hotels in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) were fully occupied, with 100 percent occupancy, while the average hotel occupancy rate in the NTB region reached 93 percent," said the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in a press release on Monday (October 6, 2025).

"To accommodate the surge in tourists, Lombok International Airport served 44 additional flights from various airlines during the race period," it added.

The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs also stated that the number of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) vendors who obtained permits to sell in the circuit area nearly doubled compared to last year.

The total economic turnover during the MotoGP Mandalika 2025 event is estimated to reach IDR 4.8 trillion, stemming from transactions in the accommodation, transportation, culinary, and creative product sales sectors.
