Market research firm Compas analyzed the competition among beauty package brands on Indonesian e-commerce platforms during the "double date" or twin-date shopping event on August 8, 2024.

Using a digital crawling method, they collected sales data from both official and non-official stores on Shopee, Tokopedia, and Blibli. The data included products with a minimum rating of 4 stars, covering the period from August 8th to 14th, 2024.

The results showed that the beauty package category grew by 8.16% year-on-year (YoY) compared to the 8.8 event of the previous year.

Nine out of ten of the best-selling beauty package brands on e-commerce were local brands. Only one brand was foreign-owned: Skintific.
