PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) recorded retail sales of 149,625 units in the January-September 2023 period. This figure represents a 6.2% increase year-on-year (YoY) compared to the 140,000 units sold in the same period last year.
The Sigra model dominated Daihatsu's sales during this period, with 48,128 units sold, contributing 32.2% to total retail sales.
The Gran Max Pick Up (PU) followed in second place, with 32,874 units sold and a 22% contribution.
The Terios completed the top three best-selling Daihatsu models during this period, with 19,670 units sold and a 13.1% contribution to total sales.
Based on this achievement, Daihatsu's contribution to the national automotive retail market share is estimated at 20.1%.
"We hope that, along with the development of the Indonesian automotive market, Daihatsu will be able to increasingly provide the best offers and services to prospective buyers and Daihatsu customers," said Tri Mulyono, Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operation, in a written statement on Tuesday (10/10/2023).
