According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Bali's 2023 Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) in the air transportation sector reached Rp4.389 billion. This figure is up from Rp1.804 billion in the previous year. Over the past seven years, the highest growth in Bali was recorded in 2022, at 61.03%. The average growth of the air transportation sector's RGDP over the past six years was 6.08%.

Banten ranks first, with an air transportation sector RGDP of Rp10.869 billion, according to BPS data. This represents a year-on-year increase of 29.67%. East Java ranks second, with a significant difference compared to the previous rank. Its air transportation sector RGDP grew by 25.89% year-on-year, reaching Rp9.481 billion from Rp7.531 billion in the previous year.
Next, DKI Jakarta's air transportation sector RGDP increased by 186.07% to Rp6.634 billion year-on-year; North Sumatra recorded Rp5.061 billion (up 33.01%); and Bali recorded Rp4.389 billion (up 51.08%).
