PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded retail sales of 128,010 units in 2023. This figure represents a 2.1% increase year-on-year (YoY) compared to 2022 sales of 125,411 units.
SUVs dominated Honda's retail sales, contributing 51.3% of total sales throughout last year.
The Honda HR-V was the best-selling SUV in 2023, with sales of 24,736 units.
This was followed by the BR-V with 18,104 units, the WR-V with 18,046 units, and the CR-V with 4,720 units.
Despite the positive sales of SUVs, Honda's best-selling model remained the Brio. This low-cost green car (LCGC) model sold 56,627 units in 2023.

With these achievements, Honda achieved a 12.8% share of the domestic automotive retail market in 2023. This represents a slight increase of 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous year's share of 12.4%.
