The Honda Brio firmly maintained its top position on the list of best-selling cars in Indonesia in January 2023. The Brio even outperformed several leading car products in Indonesia, such as the Daihatsu Sigra and Toyota Avanza.
According to a report from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), the Brio Series (RS and Satya) low-cost green car (LCGC) variant achieved wholesale sales of 7,327 units.
This performance continues the Brio's positive trend over the past year. In fact, the Brio was also named the best-selling four-wheeled vehicle in Indonesia throughout 2022.
The Daihatsu Sigra ranked second with wholesale sales of 6,644 units. It was followed by the popular Toyota Avanza, with wholesale sales of 5,782 units.
Next, the Toyota Rush recorded wholesale sales of 5,140 units, and the Daihatsu Gran Max Pick Up sold 4,825 units.

9. Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix (including Hybrid): 3,507 units
10. Honda HR-V: 3,429 units.
Overall, wholesale car sales throughout January 2023 reached 94,087 units. This figure represents an 11.8% increase year-on-year (YoY) from the same period the previous year.
