Indonesia's Top Exports to Argentina in 2023

Indonesia recorded exports to Argentina worth US$202.35 million as of December 2023. This represents a drastic 34.91% decrease compared to the previous year's exports, which totaled US$310.88 million.

Indonesia's trade record with Argentina shows an upward trend in exports over the past 10 years. The lowest export value was US$159.08 million, while the highest reached US$310.88 million.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to Argentina, 39 were worth more than one billion dollars. Falling under HS code 64, footwear, headgear, and the like are grouped together with parts of such articles. Indonesia exported US$40.61 million worth of these products.

3. Rubber

Another major export product was rubber, valued at US$34.38 million. This is lower than the previous period's US$41,511,000. Trademap data shows that Indonesia exports rubber to four countries. Exports to Argentina are the largest. The other four countries among the top five export destinations are the United States, Germany, China, Mexico, and France.

4. Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery, and mechanical appliances.

Fourth on the list, Indonesia also exported US$21.22 million worth of nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery, and mechanical appliances to Argentina. This represents an increase compared to the previous period's US$18,225,000. Trademap data shows that Indonesia exports these products to four countries. Exports to Argentina are the largest. 5. Iron or steel.

Indonesia also exported a significant amount of iron or steel to Argentina, valued at US$8.5 million. This is an increase compared to the previous period's US$3,291,000. Currently, the largest export destination for iron or steel is Argentina. Besides Argentina, the other five largest export destinations are the United States, Germany, France, Mexico, and Canada.
