Indonesia Exported US$680.68 Million Worth of Footwear to Belgium in 2023

Indonesia recorded exports to Belgium totaling US$1.62 billion as of December 2023. This represents a significant 25.87% decrease compared to the previous year's exports of US$2.19 billion.

Over the past 10 years, Indonesia's trade record with Belgium shows an upward trend in exports. The lowest export value was US$1.08 billion, while the highest reached US$2.19 billion.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to Belgium, 60 products were worth more than one billion dollars. 2. Iron and steel





Second on the list is iron and steel. Exports to Belgium in 2023 totaled US$198.88 million, down from US$241.4 million in the previous period.


3. Furniture



Falling under HS code 94, furniture is categorized with beds, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furniture. Indonesia exported US$72.7 million, lower than the previous period's US$93.46 million. Trademap data shows that Indonesia exports furniture to four countries, with Belgium being the largest recipient.
