Central Java province recorded a total export volume of 281,460 tons in December 2024. However, for exports categorized under SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) code 89 – other manufactured goods – the province saw a decrease to 2.63 million tons in December 2024.
This decline in exports continues a downward trend observed over the past five months, compared to the same period two years prior, which recorded 3.85 million tons. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) records, exports from the province in the same period the previous year totaled 3.85 million tons.
Central Java's customs import documents show 21 product groups exported from the province. These goods are categorized under 2-digit SITC codes. The product group with the highest export volume was SITC code 85: footwear and other footwear articles.
Over the past 45 months, Central Java's highest export volume was recorded in October 2024 at 4.39 million tons, while the lowest was in May 2021 at 2.1 million tons.
