Banten Province recorded a total export volume of 871,130 tons in January 2025. However, exports of motor vehicles for road transport (SITC code 78 – Standard International Trade Classification) from the province decreased to 311,470 tons in January 2025.
This decline in export value continues a downward trend observed over the past five months. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) records, exports from the province in the same period the previous year totaled 489,820 tons.
Banten's customs import documents show 21 product groups exported from the province, categorized using 2-digit SITC codes. The highest export volume was recorded for SITC code 66, non-metallic mineral products.
Based on the historical data from the past 16 months, Banten's highest export volume was recorded in January 2024 at 518,960 tons, while the lowest was in June 2024 at 309,150 tons.
