The US, Indonesia's Reptile Export Destination Country for January-July 2025

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), from January to July 2025, Indonesia exported reptiles worth US$1.86 million or approximately Rp30.89 billion (assuming Rp16,600 per US$). The total export volume reached 87.7 tons. 

As of mid-year, the United States was the main destination country for Indonesian reptile exports, with a value of US$642.58 thousand, contributing 34.52% of the total national export value. 

Here is a list of the top 10 main destination countries for Indonesian reptile exports, along with their value and weight, from January to July 2025:

• United States: US$642.58 thousand (1,446 kg)

• Japan: US$364.10 thousand (1,520 kg)

• Singapore: US$212.37 thousand (75,133 kg)

• India: US$169.65 thousand (1,111 kg)

• South Korea: US$108.28 thousand (7,387 kg)

• Czech Republic: US$74.01 thousand (215 kg)

• United Kingdom: US$55.99 thousand (142 kg) 

• Taiwan: US$50.35 thousand (281 kg) 

• Hong Kong: US$37.99 thousand (90 kg)

• Canada: US$30.89 thousand (101 kg)

In addition to the 10 countries listed above, Indonesia also exported reptiles to other countries, valued at US$114.71 thousand, with a total export weight of 284 kg.
