Other significant import categories included mineral fuels and oils (US$20.14 billion, 18.37%), manufactured goods (US$15.69 billion, 14.32%), chemicals and related products (US$14.11 billion, 12.88%), and food and live animals (US$11.98 billion, 10.94%).

Compared to January-June 2023, significant import increases were observed in beverages and tobacco (38.43%), vegetable and animal oils (23.39%), and food and live animals (7.45%).
