China Became Indonesia's Top Destination for Non-Oil and Gas Exports Until November 2022

China was the main destination for Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports throughout January-November 2022.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), during that period, Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports to China reached US$57.76 billion, equivalent to Rp895 trillion.

This value accounts for almost a quarter (22.78%) of the total national non-oil and gas export value, making it the largest compared to other non-oil and gas export destinations.

The next largest non-oil and gas export destination was the United States, with a value of US$26.14 billion throughout January-November 2022. This was followed by India at US$21.64 billion, Japan at US$21.17 billion, and Malaysia at US$12.59 billion.

During the same period, Indonesia exported non-oil and gas products to South Korea worth US$9.64 billion, to Singapore US$8.87 billion, Taiwan US$7.38 billion, Thailand US$6.36 billion, the Netherlands US$4.92 billion, Australia US$3 billion, and Germany US$2.97 billion.

Non-oil and gas exports to these 13 countries reached US$185.54 billion, or 73.16% of the total national non-oil and gas export value during the January-November 2022 period.
